POSITION SUMMARY Under the direction of the department Supervisor/Manager, the Painter is responsible for coating surface parts, assembling and finishing products with protective or decorative materials such as paint, varnish, enamel, lacquer, dope or stain using spray gun. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Determines and selects correct mixes of coating material. Applies paint to parts as directed by job orders. Identifies problems with equipment and will troubleshoot or repair paint guns. Will complete visual inspection of masking on parts to ensure consistency as well as inspect for damaged product. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS Ability to communicate, read, and understand English. Previous experience in aerospace industry or automotive repair, a plus. Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with team members at all levels in the organization. Citizen or Permanent Resident).
