Description:
SPS Commerce has an immediate opening for a Sales Training Coordinator.  In this role you will have the opportunity to support the Sales Training team throughout the entire process of executing a curriculum, which ranges from building the training curriculum to launching and executing the trainings and any follow-up.

 

Based in our office in downtown Minneapolis, our hybrid work model provides the best of both worlds.  We #succeedtogether through in person collaboration, balanced with remote work to provide flexibility.  You will be onsite 3 days per week and will be able to work remote on those days when an in-office presence isn’t necessary.

What is the day-to-day like?

Coordinate and schedule meetings and trainings.

Assist with logistics and execution of in-person and/or virtual trainings.

Send training communications to Sales Teams

Learn and understand the SPS Sales Model

Ensure all new hire training tracks are coordinated on a monthly basis.

Build stable working relationships across the organization.

Follow standard practices and procedures and apply company policy/procedure in analyzing situations or gathering data from which answers can be readily obtained.

Focus on delivering results through innovation and action.

Commitment to a collaborative environment with professionalism, integrity, passion, and accountability

Strong sense of urgency and personal accountability, not afraid to get hands-on.

Manage the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the Learning Management System (LMS) by collaborating with the LMS governance council including maintaining the LMS content quality, version control and archival information.

Develop, build and maintains curriculum programs, LMS structure, and reporting.

Manages support outlets (Slack rooms, outlook inbox)

Assist with other system related launches and updates.

Assist in coordination of annual sales meeting.

What experience and skills do you need?

Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience in administrative communication and coordination, as well as the ability to manage basic projects and initiatives or 5 years of experience without a degree.

Excellent written and verbal skills; ability to successfully communicate across diverse teams.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Seeks to understand with an inquisitive and thoughtful approach.

Strong problem-solving skills

Excellent organization skills, strong attention to details, and consistent follow-up

Flexible and adaptable; able to organize tasks and time to ensure completion of all duties.

Demonstrated experience managing small projects directly as well as through others.

What experience is preferred?

Experience working in a high growth environment.

Comfort with learning management systems (e.g., Cornerstone) and Microsoft Office Suite
