Aesthetician

Overview:
Somerset Gynecology & Obstetrics, a partner practice of Together Women’s Health (TWH) has an immediate opportunity for a Part-Time Aesthetician who is excited about the opportunity to re-build clientele from a previously established book of business 

 

The ideal applicant will have experience with Sciton lasers. 

The Part-Time Aesthetician embraces a strong commitment to providing an exceptional patient experience with every interaction. We are looking for a warm and enthusiastic Aesthetician dedicated to administering top quality skin care procedures, ensuring each patients' encounter is professional, and caring while meeting a patient's individual needs. Active Aesthetics License required.

Responsibilities:
Key Areas of Responsibility:

Consultation responsibilities include all aesthetic and laser services, pre-/post-treatment care, and educating patients about procedure expectations

Follows all safety and infection control procedures before, during, and after services

Acquire the highest level of knowledge of each service we offer as a business to stimulate cross-sales

Coordinates with clinic staff to ensure a positive patient flow, waiting room, and exam room experience

Prepares patients to be seen by various providers, collects health histories and changes as required by the healthcare provider

Proficiency with the use of equipment and skincare machinery needed to perform services

Maintain clean, organized, aesthetically pleasing OSHA-compliant treatment areas

Maintains confidentially of all patient records

Updates patient charts and uploads to electronic medical records (EMR) software

Problem solves well independently and as part of a team

Has a strong bedside manner, which promotes an exceptional patient experience with every interaction

Perform related duties based on departmental need. This job description can be changed at any time

Qualifications:
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Must be a state licensed Aesthetician with 2+ years experience (required)

Experience with Sciton lasers is highly preferred. This must be reflected on resume. 

Strong sales background preferred

Have extensive knowledge of skin types, potential allergies, and other complications that may arise from treatments
