Aesthetician - On Call

Overview:
Aesthetician

To be well versed and an expert in the field of Esthetics as described by the Laws of the State of Nevada. To deliver exceptional guest service to all guests of the Spa and Salon at the Golden Nugget Las Vegas and maintain a clean and healthful environment for delivering services according to the Policies, Procedures, and Protocols.

Responsibilities:
Facials, aromatherapy, body treatments, massaging, analyzing, ordering, stocking facial supplies, extractions, applying make-up, waxing, tinting eyebrows and eyelashes.

Be knowledgeable of all products used in Service Protocols and Sold in Retail to be able to make recommendations to clients on all phases of esthetics.

Maintain a clean and orderly work area.

Maintain current licenses and continuing education requirements essential to job performance and Licensing.

Qualifications:
Excellent analytical, problem solving, administrative, multi-tasking, organization and prioritization skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), fluent English and articulate.

Ability to work efficiently, independently and cohesively, consistently producing quality results.

Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications required; Spa Soft experience preferred.

Must be able to learn and perform all Protocols and Procedures, essential to performing the services offered on our menu of services, to the Golden Nugget Standards.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 1 year experience in a Resort Spa environment

Nevada State Board of Cosmetology Estheticians License

Minimum age requirement is 21

High School Diploma or GED

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Must possess basic mathematical skills to include ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide specific to position responsibilities.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and understand all policies and procedures.

Must be able to communicate effectively with guests, employees, and members of management in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.

Must be able to complete standard forms and reports.
