Payroll Clerk- Part-Time
What You'll Do:
As a Payroll Clerk, you will provide vital support to payroll operations. Your attention to detail and adherence to payroll procedures will ensure accurate and timely payments for staff, increasing efficiency and enabling our facilities to provide high-quality resident care.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect, calculate and enter payroll-related data into the payroll system
Identify missing information and retrieve data when necessary
Process 401(K) Plan and other payroll deductions and withholdings
Review and reconcile payroll reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with labor laws and regulations
Support care center teams by responding to payroll questions and resolving discrepancies in a timely and professional manner
Maintain payroll records and files in accordance with company policies and procedures
Process payroll transactions, including new hires, terminations, salary changes, and bonuses

What You'll Bring:
Qualifications of a Payroll Clerk include:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience in payroll processing, certification in payroll administration or familiarity with payroll software and systems highly valued but not required – training will be provided
Exceptional attention to detail
Basic computer / data entry skills and proficiency in office software including Excel
Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
