Overview:

Physically receiving supplies and equipment into the facility and distributing throughout the facility and clinics. Entering receipts into a computer and stocking shelves.

Responsibilities:
Sign for freight as it is delivered to the hospital and obtain packing slips

Receive items into Meditech for perpetual inventory accuracy.

Place inventory items in the correct location in the store room

Log and deliver nonstock items to the appropriate user department

Obtain signature from the individual who accepts the items into their department

Maintain a clean work environment, sweeping dock daily

Perform other duties in the department and assist on an as needed basis with the following department positions:

Qualifications:
Education:

 

High School graduate or equivalent

 

Experience:

 

Some computer knowledge and purchasing experience, deals well with individuals and public.

 

Degrees, Licensure, and/or Certification:

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

 

Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
