Overview:
General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems is looking for an experienced Test Eng Sr Technician - 2nd Shift to join our Lincoln, NE organization.  We are expanding rapidly and looking for motivated and creative individuals who want to help support and shape this organization as we grow. 

 

GD-OTS provides reliable and affordable composite products to the defense and commercial aerospace markets. With more than 50 years of expertise, General Dynamics designs, develops, manufactures and tests a full range of composite missile and space structures, including rocket motors, pressure vessels, launch tubes and fuel tanks.

Major Position Responsibilities:
Perform standard testing processes on a variety of equipment and records and analyzes results.

Records data from testing in standard formats and provides results to product and engineering teams.

Assists technical teams with recommendations to resolve testing problems, roadblocks or equipment malfunctions that impact the performance or validity of testing.

Requires knowledge of industry specific tests and testing equipment.

Performs in-process inspection of products with use of standard and specialized inspection equipment.

Work overtime as required to support Production operations.

Perform gage verification & calibration efforts as necessary.

Basic Qualifications:
Two Year Associate Degree in Technical field minimum (or equivalent experience).

3-5 Years prior experience in similar position.

High degree of mechanical & electrical aptitude with hands-on experience.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
