Overview:
The Supervisor of Healthcare IT Revenue Cycle, manages incidents, events, and break-fix tickets for departments service catalog. Manages system maintenance and build change requests, effectively manages Operational SLA’s, and Revenue Cycle IT Analyst staff

Responsibilities:
Operations
* Facilitates Critical Event Management to include meaningful and effective communication during the event to staff and leadership.

*System Maintenance/Build Change Requests

*Working with Departmental Leaders to ensure proper vetting and approval of changes/system modifications

* Effectively Manage Operational SLAs

 

Standardization
*Ensures standardization, consistency, and maintainability of existing and new applications by creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards and procedures for implementing technical, clinical and business solutions

* Use tools, controls, techniques, established principals and standards to ascertain the quality, effectiveness, security, and accuracy of information systems.

Implements changes consistent with a highly maintained and secure enterprise systems. Ensuring systems are regularly patched and updated to address cybersecurity vulnerabilities. Reports regularly to leaders systems that are at risk because of outdated versions or compatibility.

 

Team Accountability
* Demonstrates leadership using written, oral and interpersonal communication skills to effectively guide the work of reporting team to accomplish the delivery of the mission and vision of NAH through technology.

* Lead, schedule, mentor and train Revenue Cycle Analyst support personnel (employees and contractors) to consistently and timely provide issue resolution.

* Holds team accountable for established standards of service delivery.

*Schedules and monitors personnel on-call activities, escalations and follow up

 

Compliance/Safety
* Responsible for reporting any safety-related incident in a timely fashion through the Midas/RDE tool; attends all safety-related training programs; performs work in a safe manner; monitors work environment for possible safety issues and ensures others are also performing work in a safe manner.

* Stays current and complies with state and federal regulations/statutes and company policies that impact the employee's area of responsibility.

* If required for the position, ensures all certifications and/or licenses are up-to-date and valid prior to expiration dates.

* Completes all company mandatory modules and required job-specific training in the specified time frame.

Qualifications:
Education
High School Diploma or GED- Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field- Preferred

 

Experience
*5 years working within Healthcare- Required

*3 years as a functional leader over people and/or processes, with focus in customer service- Preferred

*5 years working in an IT environment-Required

*Project Management experience- Preferred

Healthcare is a rapidly changing environment and technology is integrated into almost all aspects of patient care. Computers and other electronic devices are utilized across the organization and throughout each department. Colleagues must have an understanding of computers, and competence in using computers and basic software programs.

 

Certification & Licensures
ITIL Foundation Certification- Preferred
