Surgical Technologist First Assistant

Full-Time - 0.8 FTE

Varied/Days (Shifts include 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, and 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

 

$5,000.00 new hire sign-on bonus

Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of a Surgeon, the Surgical Technologist First Assistant assists with the intraoperative care of the surgical patient.

Provides aid in exposure, hemostasis, and other technical skills used to assist the Surgeon to provide optimal results for the patient.

Qualifications:
Education:

Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology and Surgical Assisting.

Must maintain CEUs as defined by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting.

Experience:

Minimum of five years perioperative patient care.

License(s)/Certification(s):

CPR certification is required.

Certified Surgical Technologist-First Assist certification required through an accredited program.
