Behavioral Health Technician Night Shift

 

$500 Sign-on Bonus

(8pm - 6am)

Our Behavioral Health Technician make a meaningful difference in the lives of teenagers in need of compassionate care and support. We are seeking dedicated individuals who are passionate about promoting mental wellness and providing support to teenagers and their families facing dynamic challenges back at home.

 

As a Behavioral Health Associate, you will play a crucial role in fostering a safe and supportive environment for our clients to grow, develop and apply transferable coping skills, and reconnect with peers, themselves, and their families using our proven and effective therapeutic approach.

What does life look like at Embark White Haven? 

Responsibilities:
 

Ensure Client Safety and Campus SafetyProvide overnight supervision of client emotional and physical safety

Attend to the overnight security of the campus

Encourage client engagement in activities of daily living (ADLs), chores, and coping skill applications

Provide early intervention ahead of and during emotional and behavioral crises

Maintain personal and professional boundaries

Attend to Nightly Upkeep of Facilities and Administrative TasksPerform regular cleaning duties to support a clean and sanitized environment for client use, growth, and well-being

Complete nightly documentation charts of client progress and supervision

Routinely upload client paperwork into program databases

Align and Operate within the Treatment Team’s Approach for Each ClientAttend to daily Treatment Team direction for updates on client treatment protocol application

Communicate and collaborate with supervisors and clinicians regarding client issues and notable progress

Document client progress notes daily

Provide Quality and Engaging Client Services Encourage client engagement in activities of daily living (ADLs) and coping skill applications

Coach and develop client social skills

Plan and facilitate client activities in art, music, yoga, fitness, and a variety of other on and off campus activities

Grow and Develop with the Residential TeamPractice a growth mindset with focus and application of the company core values

Integrate specialized trainings

Enjoy and contribute to ongoing professional development and growth

 

Qualifications:
21+ years of age or older

High school diploma or GED

Preferred - One year of experience in a residential setting using relational, experiential, and systemic modalities.

Valid driver's license

Ability to apply provided training in safe verbal de-escalation and physical intervention with an upset or combative client

Able to pass pre-employment drug screen

Able to pass criminal investigation background check

Ability to perform CPR and First-Aid
