Senior Consultant Microsoft Word Add-in

Responsibilities:

Microsoft Office Development: Experience with developing custom Word add-ins using technologies such as Office JavaScript API, VSTO (Visual Studio Tools for Office), or Office Add-in APIs.
JavaScript/TypeScript: Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript programming languages is essential for developing custom Word add-ins as they are typically built using web technologies.
HTML/CSS: Understanding HTML and CSS is necessary for designing user interfaces and integrating them into the Word environment.
RESTful APIs: Knowledge of RESTful APIs is beneficial for integrating external services or data sources into the Word add-in.
Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems such as Git is important for managing codebase changes and collaboration with team members.
User Experience (UX) Design: Understanding of UX principles and best practices helps design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for the add-in.
Debugging and Troubleshooting: Ability to debug and troubleshoot issues within the Word add-in environment using browser developer tools or debugging tools provided by development environments.
Security: Awareness of security best practices for developing add-ins, such as handling user authentication securely and protecting against potential vulnerabilities.
Documentation: Skill in documenting code, APIs, and project requirements is important for maintaining project documentation and ensuring clear communication among team members.
Agile Methodologies: Comfort with Agile methodologies such as SCRUM, Kanban, or Agile/Scrum methodologies is advantageous for collaborating effectively within development teams and adapting to changing project requirements.
