Pizza Cook

Sanibel Captiva Beach Resorts, a leading leisure, travel, and tourism company, is seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza Cook to join our culinary team in our brand new pizza kitchen. As a Pizza Cook, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment at our beautiful beach resort.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook delicious pizza and other specialty menu items according to our recipes and specifications, and guest's requests.

Ensure that food is prepared and presented in a timely manner.

Adhere to sanitary and food safety standards in order to maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Monitor inventory and inform the chef of any supply needs.

Collaborate with other team members to maintain exceptional quality and presentation of our food.

Assist with developing new pizza recipes and menu ideas.

Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.

Requirements

Proven experience working as a Pizza Cook in a high-volume establishment preferred, but we are happy to train the right person

In-depth knowledge of pizza dough and pizza-making techniques an advantage.

Ability to handle and cook multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining quality standards.

Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations.

Excellent knife skills and ability to operate kitchen equipment.

Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure effectively.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
