Developer (Anaplan)

Intro:
AIS is seeking a talented Developer specializing in Analplan. As a Developer (Anaplan), you'll have the opportunity to utilize your expertise to drive innovative solutions as you work closely with our client to provide solution options.

What You'll Be Doing:
Design, develop, maintain and enhance Anaplan and PowerBI business applications under supervision of senior software engineers.

These business applications may be transactional or analytical in nature.

Design and build state of the art business applications under supervision of senior software engineers.

Adheres to our client's architectural principles and standards for software development, data and security.

Collaborate with business staff, IT colleagues and other stakeholders to evaluate defined complex business requirements and processes, assess available technologies, determine infrastructure and recommend solution options.  

Utilize problem-solving and decision-making skills to understand client pain points and to self- troubleshoot as challenges arise.

Collaborate with other members of the development team and project managers to deliver solutions that surpass client expectations while meeting deadlines and budgets.

Design, write, unit test, and document application code to successfully deliver project-based work.

Work in an agile environment with participation in daily stand-ups/scrum.

Learn new technologies and be aware of industry standards, best practices, and trends.

Location and Travel Details:
This is a remote position with occasional travel (if needed).

Profile of Success:
Requires Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Applied Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field of study. 

Minimum of 5 to 10 years experience with Experience or knowledge with designing, developing, and implementing applications using Anaplan framework; Client interface design with PowerBI.

SQL Database design and development.

Systems Development Life Cycle as pertains to software development projects.

Selection of deployment options and web services including data contract design and implementation using RESTful implementations. 

Anaplan experience is a must and Power-Shell Scripting. 

Desirable Skills:
Anaplan Certification - Solutions Architect Level I, II or , II Highly desired.

Microsoft Power BI Certification - Nice to have. 
Previous agile/Scrum experience. 

Front end web development background with Angular and/or React. 

Desire to obtain or utilize relevant technical certifications as part of continuous professional growth.
