Job Description:
This is a mid-level position to work as a Material Handler with the COSAL group at the West Bath Complex. Applicants may be assigned any H18 Trade tasks, but will primarily be assigned to the following.

Receive new shipments of material at warehouses and facilities.

Receive and process material utilizing appropriate BIW inventory systems.

Maintain accurate inventory.

Operate bar-code scanners.

Operate Forklifts and other material handling equipment.

Loadout of ships material.

Operate hand tools.

 Pay range for this position is $26.00/hr - $27.00/hr.

Required/Preferred Education/Training:
High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Prospective candidates must pass a fork-lift competency test at time of interview

Required/Preferred Experience:
One year forklift experience required.

Basic computer skills including use of Microsoft office products and use of Inventory systems.

Must meet the requirements of the H18 physical task analysis, to include climbing stairs and ladders and other shipboard activities.

1+ year of warehousing experience preferred.
