We are searching for a talented Sr. Billing Specialist
Hours: 40hrs
Shift: Day shift; 8:00am-4:30pm
Location: Southcoast Business Center – Fairhaven, MA
Travel: Will require driving

Responsibilities:
Under the general direction of the Director of Business Operations, performs a variety of duties in support of Revenue Cycle Management functions, including but not limited to the effective and efficient management of revenue related billing work queues and management and oversight of denials and appeals process. Ensures revenue related work queues are processed timely and managed per payer rules.
Qualifications:
Associates degree in related field or equivalent education and experience required.
Must have at least three years of third party billing experience.
Working experience with office equipment and tools, including computers, spreadsheets, calculators, printers and on-line tools/databases is required.
Working knowledge of CPT codes, ICD-10, applicable modifiers, and medical terminology.
Must be accurate and detail oriented.
Demonstrated ability to understand and comply with patient billing guidelines and regulations required.
Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
Pay Range:
USD $18.36 - USD $30.89 /Hr.
