Academic Year Internship Program:

Program Dates: September 16, 2024 – April 18, 2025 

Time Commitment: 16-24 hours per week. Exact schedule to be determined based on business need.  We will do our best to accommodate course schedules. 

Format: Opportunities listed will require an intern to work from Miami, FL.

NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises is a world-class media company leading the industry in the production and distribution of high-quality Spanish-language content to U.S. Hispanics and audiences around the world.    

Areas of placement may include, but are not limited to: 

Telemundo Business & Legal Affairs: The Business and Legal Affairs Department supports the various business units of Telemundo Media, principally in the areas of vendor engagement, development, production, licensing and distribution. The Intern position will provide support to various members of the Business and Legal Affairs Department.

Responsibilities include: 

Under supervision of an attorney, negotiate, draft, review and interpret an extensive range of agreements (including, but not limited to, commercial vendor, distribution, rights acquisition, production, license agreements, and corporate services.)

Under supervision of an attorney, conduct rights analyses of various agreements relating to Telemundo intellectual property for discussion and analysis within the department and with key business stakeholders.

Assist with creating deal summaries and maintaining and otherwise administering day-to-day contractual and operational matters (including preparation letters and memoranda to internal and external clients, presentations as required, etc.)

Generally support the attorneys and professionals in the department.
