We are seeking a full-time Porter/Janitorial Custodian at a scattered-site portfolio in the Providence West Elmwood Housing Development neighborhoods.

Job Functions:

Maintains building exterior, interior, and commons area floors by, sweeping, vacuuming, cleaning windows, washing, waxing, buffing, etc.

Maintains the appearance of sites by collecting and discarding trash from common areas and throughout the site on a daily basis.

Maintains sites to standards by observing and reporting damage for necessary repairs.

Performs minor repair work, as assigned.

Aids with snow removal by shoveling, salt/sanding, and operating other appropriate equipment.

Ensures that buildings are safely secured at the end of the shift

Assumes additional responsibilities as needed

Works overtime as required for snow removal.

Qualifications:

Ability to read product instructions and safety materials

Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 and additional technology resources.

Ability to fill out and complete work orders accurately

Ability to communicate effectively with site staff and customers

Ability to operate light machinery and simple hand tools

Must have reliable transportation to travel between properties

Bilingual in English and Spanish is helpful.
