We are searching for a talented Resource Nurse-Emergency

 

Hours: 24hrs

Shift: Evening Shift, 3:00pm - 3:30am with weekend & vacation rotations

Location: St. Luke’s Hospital – New Bedford, MA

 

Welcome to the Emergency Department at St. Luke’s Hospital We have earned official designation as a Level II Adult Trauma Center. Our trauma center is the first of its kind in the region. Our RNs have access to new technologies, professional development resources, and an engaged leadership team. We partner with pediatricians from Boston Children’s Hospital to provide specialized care in the emergency room and pediatric unit.

Responsibilities:
Under direction of Director, Manager, Patient Care or Designee perform a variety of duties involving the coordination of both clinical and non-clinical care activities including but not limited to staff assignments, staffing levels, etc. Provide guidance, support and coordinate orientation of all new staff members.

Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Nursing or equivalent is required.

A minimum of three years clinical experience in an appropriate setting, i.e. Medical Surgical, Critical/Coronary Care, etc. is required.

Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.

Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Pay Range:
USD $44.07 - USD $76.72 /Hr.

Rotation Schedule Requirement :
Every other weekend and vacation
