Summary

 

Completes sub-assembly and packaging processes according to established operating procedures and engineering and quality specifications. 

Responsibilities:
Performs sub-assembly based on drawings and supervisor instructions 

Follows supervisors’ instructions of work to be performed 

Inspects, operates, and tests completed assemblies and finished product to verify function, quality, and conformance to specifications 

Cleans and lubricates parts and assemblies 

Maintains personal tool inventory 

Maintains a clean and orderly work area based on quality goals 

Uses computer to record assembly status 

Follows safety instructions and rules 

Works overtime and assigned shifts as needed 

Employees are responsible to comply with all requirements of Daifuku’s QMS policies and procedures.

Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction.

 

Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred  

Minimum of 1 year of machine assembly experience  

Ability to read and understand complex assembly drawings and blueprints 

Basic computer knowledge 

Basic mathematical knowledge, including decimal and fractional equations 

Knowledge of standard and decimal measurements, hand tools, and power tools 

Knowledge of quality assurance and self-inspection techniques 

Good verbal communication skills 

Self-motivated and detail-oriented 

Team orientation
