Overview:
CLOW HAS AN OPENING FOR 3RD SHIFT POSITION BRASS FURNACE OPERATOR

 

STARTING RATE OF PAY: $23.66

QUALIFIED RATE OF PAY: $24.36

HEALTH INSURANCE AVAILABLE AFTER 60 DAYS.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities of the successful Brass Furnace Operator candidate include but are not limited too:
•Loads scrap metal into brass melting furnace.
•Utilizes ladle to transfer metal.
•Transfers metal to the pouring line, where it is poured into molds.
•Clean up and other duties as required. 

Qualifications:
Qualifications of the successful Brass Furnace Operator candidate include but are not limited too:
•Heavy lifting/carrying greater than 50 lbs.
•Frequent lifting greater than 40 times per hour.
•Bending/ twisting/ and standing for greater than 8 hours.
•Ability to read and write and understand training and instruction.
•Ability to work in extreme heat.
•Must be able to utilize and work around moving machinery including ladle, crane, and forklift.
•Must be able to utilize proper PPE including: respirator, metatarsal guarded boots, eye protection, hearing protection, aluminized hood and leggings.
