Commercial Glass Superintendent

Terrelonge Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Superintendent specializing in glass installation to oversee and manage commercial construction projects in Georgia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, particularly in the field of glass installation, and possess excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and project teams.

Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Coordination:

Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets for glass installation projects.

Coordinate with project stakeholders including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project requirements are met within deadlines and budget constraints.

Site Management:

Oversee on-site activities, including but not limited to material deliveries, equipment usage, and workforce management.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.

Quality Control:

Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality of glass installation work meets industry standards and client expectations.

Address any issues or defects promptly and effectively to maintain project integrity.

Team Leadership:

Provide leadership and direction to project teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure efficient project execution.

Foster a collaborative and positive work environment to promote productivity and teamwork.

Communication:

Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, communicating project progress, challenges, and resolutions effectively and professionally.

Document project activities, including daily reports, progress updates, and change orders, to maintain accurate project records.

Cost Management:

Monitor project expenses and resource utilization to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize project profitability.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial construction management, with a focus on glass installation preferred.

Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects from inception to completion.

Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations related to glass installation.

Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire project teams.

Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
