Kettering Health Main Campus, formerly Kettering Medical Center, is the flagship hospital of Kettering Health and has been serving Kettering, Ohio and the Greater Dayton area since 1964.

The facility includes the Benjamin and Marian Schuster Heart Hospital, maternity service with a level III neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), and level II Emergency Care.

Responsibilities & Requirements:
 The Nuclear Medicine Supervisor will be responsible for providing day-to-day supervision of the GVMC Nuclear Medicine Departments.  Individual will be capable of independent action and judgment. The individual in this position will assure that the department is properly staffed and supplied so that the technical work is completed in a timely and competent manner. The Nuclear Medicine Specialist will perform therapeutic and diagnostic procedure-imaging examinations a minimum of 60% of the time, the remaining 40% of time will be spent on supervisory duties.  

Preferred Qualifications:
Educational Requirements

·         Registered by the ARRT or NMTCB in Nuclear Medicine Technology

·         Possesses a current State of Ohio license in Nuclear Medicine

·         Graduation from an approved academic program in Nuclear Medicine

·         Associate degree required, Baccalaureate degree preferred.

 Five years of nuclear medicine experience required.

Two years of supervisory experience preferred.

Possess leadership abilities including staff utilization and effective delegation as well as organizational and interpersonal communication skills.

Work hours can be irregular with the need to accept after hours call-in and overtime work 

Ability to exercise independent judgment and initiate independent action.

Able to work well with others and to foster a spirit of teamwork and cooperation.

Ability to deal tactfully, but firmly and professionally, with others.
