RN-Clinic Highlands

Overview:
Manages individualized, goal-directed nursing care through use of the nursing process and the principles of primary nursing in accordance with physician office and hospital policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
Provides patient care from the perspective of process, structure and outcomes.

 

Serves as a role model in nursing practice by providing direct care to selected patients.

 

Identifies and meets immediate and long-range nursing care needs of patients and their families.

 

Serves as a consultant or resource person to team members, the patient and the patient’s family in assessing strategies to maximize adaptation to illness and promote wellness.

 

Qualifications:

Minimum Education

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing preferred

Minimum Work Experience

• 1year of Experience in a clinic setting preferred

Required Licenses/Certifications

•Current license by the KY State board of Nursing
• BLS

 

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

• Successful Completion of an accredited school of nursing, current license by the KY State board of Nursing, currently certified in BLS.
• Completion of all Mandatory Competencies
• Comply with OSHA regulations for the N95 respirator training and fit testing.
