Job Description

Pay Range: $17.75 to $19.25 per hour

(Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am-4:59am)

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Lifts live chickens off a moving conveyor belt and hangs them on overhead shackles.

Operate and controls the speed of the conveyor belt with knee-controlled lever.

Remove birds off the conveyor that are deemed “Dead On Arrival”.

Utilize high pressure hose to wash empty coops and trailers.

Picks up “Dead On Arrival” and loose chickens off of the floor.

Cleans up feathers and other debris into gondola or tanks.
