Overview:
The Support Center RN-Clinical Reimbursement Coordinator will assist communities when a position becomes vacant and oversee the coordination of all clinical payment programing including quality reporting, creating care plan implementation and auditing through the Triple Check process. Our RN – Clinical Reimbursement coordinators make a tremendous difference in the quality of life of our residents by ensuring safety and needs are being met in all aspects of care.

Responsibilities:
 

MDS Coordinator maintains communication between internal and external partners.

MDS Coordinator analyzes services and interventions with the team.

MDS Coordinator communicates with responsible payers to ensure when coverage is appropriate.

MDS Coordinator reviews cases and determines reimbursement care mix levels. 

MDS Coordinator assists clinical and therapeutic departments with the MDS process.

Qualifications:
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN), in good standing.

Knowledge of current state and federal regulations governing long-term care facilities.

Knowledge of RAI/MDS/Care Planning, Medicare, Private Insurers, and Medicaid processes.
