Job Overview:
This role provides support with and planning for community engagement opportunities through vendor coordination, people organizing, and hands-on involvement in community-wide events. 

 

This is a community-builder role in event coordination, which needs strong administrative and detail management. This a 6-month internship including weekend and evening work as needed, especially during event weeks. 

 

Highlights of your role:
· Assist and support the Community Relations team with internal and external activities.

· Provide event project coordination from pre-planning to completion. Schedule event planning team meetings, recaps, and post-event wrap-ups.

· Support Community Relations Manager in contacting non-profits, students, adults, and greater community to increase involvement in events.

· Serve as community representative on projects, community-based awards or events in our community.

· All work aligns with the Marvin ® purpose and values at all times.

· Displays strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

· A team player and collaborator.

· A bit of a risk taker to try new things, learn, and refine as appropriate.
