Responsibilities:
Technica is seeking an AOC System Manager to support CAOC-X in Hampton, VA. The System Manager for the CAOC-X program is a recognized industry authority with advanced technical insight in multiple fields and disciplines. The complexity of work is state of the art and the candidate consults various government and commercial organizations to implement intricate solutions. The System Manager will support the Program Manager in planning and assigning tasks including assessing level of effort, reviewing requirements, and analyzing those requirements.  The ideal candidate for the System Manager is a master collaborator with a deep understanding of the AOC WS. (Including, but not limited to): tests and evaluations, operational and technical assessments, engineering spirals, exercises and training, innovation activities, cyber events, demonstrations, and experiments at Langley AFB, VA.

Provide liaison between the Test Director and the Operations Community to ensure AOC Command, Control, Communications, Computer, and Intelligence (C4I) systems are setup, configured and operating in a manner that meets needs.

Work with the Common Operating Picture (COP) Manager to design, execute, and manage the AOC COP architecture.

Coordinate for sourcing of operational system data (e. g. mapping and imagery data, ATO, ACO)

Direct, perform and coordinate AOC weapon system (WS) end-to-end validation test prior to and during exercises.

Establish and modify AOC weapon system profiles and permissions to meet on a continuous basis.

Coordinate with the AOC Information Management Office (IMO) to develop web server, shared file server, and data archiving requirements.

Act as the United States Message Text Format (USMTF) focal point for the AOC for collecting and submitting recommended changes to the AOC WS Lead Command at the operational level.

Support Test, experimentation, validation, and verification of new versions of systems and software, and coordinate with higher headquarters (HHQ) on theater wide C4I systems issues at the operational level.

Capable of setting up, installing, loading, configuring, integrating, and troubleshooting multiple systems and network components

Ability to train and mentor junior team members while working across teams to install, load, configure, integrate, and troubleshoot multiple systems in support of CAOC-X requirements.

Works with others to achieve desired results in complex systems implementations and events.

Supports requirements, design, and implementation efforts.

Hands-on experience with two or more of the following: Host Based Security System (HBSS), Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), Microsoft SQL Server, Postgres, SharePoint, Exchange, VMware Sphere 6.0, RHEL, UNIX, and Citrix

Domain knowledge of the administration, integration, and configuration of AOC WS systems & subsystems to include connected external systems.

Domain knowledge of airborne networking, such as Tactical Data Links (TDL)/Link 16, Objective Gateway, Inter-Flight Data Link (IFDL), Joint Tactical Information Display System (JTIDS), Situational Awareness Data Link, Multi-function

Advanced Data Link and the integration of airborne networking communications systems, protocols, data sets and standards into initiatives and events

Experience using integrated intelligence and C2 systems, for example Global Command and Controls System (GCCS), JADOCS, AGILE, or Theater Battle Management Core Systems (TBMCS)

Supports the Integration of multiple systems and data flows across standardized interfaces and across multiple networks according to the engineering plan.

Supports the Identification and resolution integration problems.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Information Systems, or Computer Science or 2+ years of commensurate experience

Active Secret Clearance (requires a TS/SCI, ideal candidate can start with a Secret Clearance)

Provide liaison between the Test Director and the Operations Community to ensure AOC Command, Control, Communications, Computer, and Intelligence (C4I) systems are setup, configured and operating in a manner that meets needs.

Specific skillsets:Strong understanding of Command and Control (C2) applications: Global Command and Controls Systems (GCCS), JADOCS, AGILE, Theater Battle Management Core Systems (TBMCS), etc.

Experience with or the ability to learn the administration of Active directory, Windows OS, Splunk, UNIX OS, LINUX OS, ACAS, HBSS, and Cisco.

Desired:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Information Systems, or Computer Science or 4+ years of commensurate experience

Certifications:
CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification is required.
