Overview of Responsibilities:
Performs all primary job responsibilities listed for Paramedic scope of practice set forth by the Indiana EMS Commission and additional skills approved by the Reid Health EMS Medical Director.

Must possess critical thinking skills;

Possesses awareness of health care delivery systems and level of educational preparation of health care providers;

Assess, treat and coordinate health services for patients in the prehospital setting;

Administers patient care consistent with department protocols and physician orders;

Develops and completes appropriate reports for the EMS Program.

Attends meetings as requested and available.

Education/Experience:
Certifications:  Paramedic licensure in the State of Indiana is required; Ohio license preferred; National Registry preferred

 

Experience Required: Valid Indiana or Ohio driver’s license is required, must be 21 years of age, must have a good driving record, must be preapproved for Reid vehicle insurance before starting employment

Schedule Details:
Full Time. 48 hours weekly.

Connersville location.
