We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer to join our dynamic team responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our Kubernetes-based container platform. As a Senior Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, implementation, and support of scalable, resilient, and secure infrastructure solutions to support our growing portfolio of cloud-native applications. Responsibilities

Design, implement, and optimize Kubernetes-based container platform solutions to meet the scalability, performance, and security requirements of our cloud-native applications.

Lead the architectural design and implementation of core platform components, including cluster orchestration, networking, storage, and monitoring.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define platform requirements, design solutions, and drive technical initiatives from conception to deployment.

Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes using infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools and practices.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to the Kubernetes platform, container runtime, and underlying infrastructure.

Establish and enforce security policies, access controls, and compliance standards to protect sensitive data and ensure regulatory compliance.

Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and provide technical guidance and support to foster a culture of learning and collaboration within the team.

Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices related to the container platform

Provide platform support via on-call rotation as required

Respond to and assist in production operations in a 24/7 environment

Knowledge and Experience

Degree in Engineering discipline or equivalent experience

3+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering

2+ years of building self-managed Kubernetes-based container platforms in a Production environment

In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, components, and ecosystem, including hands-on experience with Kubernetes deployment, configuration, and operation.

Solid understanding of container networking, storage, security, and observability principles, with the ability to design and implement scalable and resilient solutions.

Strong proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language such as python, bash, Golang, or equivalent for automation and tooling.

Demonstrated expertise in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools and practices (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) for automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration.

Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred

Experience with OpenShift

Experience with cloud-native technologies and services such as docker, podman, Prometheus, Grafana, Helm

Certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Red Hat Certified OpenShift Administrator are a plus.
