Overview:
Allied Reliability is seeking a Millwright Maintenance Mechanic for a leading producer of roofing granules to perform a variety of craft duties involved in constructing, maintaining and repairing plant facilities that includes a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment. With qualification, the Millwright will provide electrical support services to the site.

Responsibilities:
Job Responsibilities:

As directed, performs activities associated with welding, fabrication, repair, rebuilding, installation and demolition of the plant’s buildings, equipment and machinery

Responsible for quality of work and the safe operation of all tools and equipment under his/her control

Responsible for good housekeeping and safety inspection of work area

May be required to perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Core Competencies:

Ability to work from blueprints, sketches and verbal instructions

Must demonstrate ability and skill with welding (primarily Stick welding)

Previous maintenance experience in an industrial setting is required

Completion of a mechanical or electrical proficiency qualification or apprentice program is desired.
