Job Summary:
GENERAL DESCRIPTION

 

Administers one or more Cherokee Nation programs.

 

Job Duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Develops and administers a program plan that aligns with organizational objectives.

Defines program requirements, identifies interdependencies with internal or external departments or service providers, and coordinates to receive their input.

Develops and disseminates communications regarding the program and answers questions.

Tracks program progress, adoption, or performance and provides ongoing reports to leadership/program sponsors.

 LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY

Performs work under direct supervision.

Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.

Possesses beginning to working knowledge of subject matter

          Program Administrator III

May act as a lead

Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS

 

Program Administrator I

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

At least 2 years of experience.

Valid driver’s license may be required.      

Program Administrator II

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

At least 4 years of experience.

Valid driver’s license may be required.      

Program Administrator III

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

At least 6 years of experience.

Valid driver’s license may be required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly stand, walk, sit, and talk or hear. The employee will frequently use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee will occasionally climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.  

 

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

The employee must not be and will not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG's Cumulative Sanction Report, or the GSA's List of Excluded Providers, or listed on the OIG's List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).
