Primary Job Duties:
The Continuing Analysis Surveillance System (CASS) Analyst reports to the Manager of Quality Assurance/CASS and is responsible for the statistical analysis of audit findings and the collection of operational and performance data. The position provides continual analysis of RizePoint data for defects, deficiencies, negative trends, and quality and safety issues. This position is responsible for statistical reporting as defined by CASS to include but not limited to; investigating adverse indicators, making recommendations for improved maintenance quality, conducting monthly reviews, and updating checklists to meet regulatory and SkyWest procedures.

Performs analytical studies on aircraft systems and components, as well as SkyWest work/policy trends and vendor history

Provides statistical reports of the above for analytical purposes and makes recommendations for improved maintenance quality

Serves as RizePoint Administrator to maintain CASS Quality Assurance data

Analyzes audits performed for the CASS program and inputs collected data into the Quality Assurance database

Enters Maintenance Operations Reports on issues needing attention or corrective action

Reviews and distributes Maintenance Operations Reports

Organizes and participates in scheduled CASS Meetings

Tracks, trends, and presents performance and effectiveness data for inclusion in Monthly CASS Board Meetings

Reviews audit checklists for required revisions

Requests special audits regarding trends identified

Monitors, sorts, and classifies deficiencies and corrective action identified through audit findings

Notifies responsible person(s) of required corrective action

Assists in follow up of assigned action items with responsible individuals

Tracks and ensures time schedule for corrective action

Assists in performing Root Cause Analysis

Interfaces with the Manager of Maintenance Safety to identify negative trends that have an effect across company department lines

Additional Duties/Responsibilities as identified in GMM Sections, SOPs and SkyWest Manuals

Performs additional duties as assigned by the Manager of Quality Assurance/CASS

Minimum Requirements:
Familiarity with: SkyWest Company policies and procedures

Industry Quality policies and procedures

Systems Analysis, Risk Assessment/Management and Root Cause Analysis

Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office, Data Entry and Analytics

Strong organizational and scheduling skills

Auditing Experience

Detail-oriented

Ability to work independently and with a Team

Strong Communication Skills (oral and written)

Preferred Qualifications:

Education in Data Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field

Relevant experience in:

Data visualization software such as Tableau.

Comprehensive quality assurance software such as RizePoint.

Database Administration

Project or Team Management

Technical Writing

Aircraft maintenance procedures

SkyWest General Maintenance Manual (GMM), Operations Specifications (Ops Specs), and Code of Federal Regulations (CFRs)

Physical and Other Requirements:
This is not a remote position. It is located at SkyWest Headquarters in St. George, UT. Must currently reside in, or be willing to relocate to St. George or the surrounding areas.

Ability to sit at a computer and work for extended periods of time.
