Sodexo is seeking a Food Service Manager 2 for Ozanam Hall of Queens Nursing Home in Bayside, NY. This leadership position is directly responsible for the successful operation of the Dining Services program. Ability to work a flexible schedule, with possible weekend rotation, is highly preferred.  

 

The successful candidate will:

have oversight of day-to-day kitchen operations, will oversee trayline production;

Interface closely and daily with residents, client executive level leadership and client board members;

control and ensure company and client financial targets and goals are achieved;

ensure that the highest possible standards of food handling and preparation are achieved.

have culinary experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance;

is familiar with senior living regulations;

have a positive approach to tasks with a can-do attitude and impeccable attention to detail.

Qualifications & Requirements:
Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma, GED or equivalent     

Basic Management Experience - 1 year
