What You'll Do:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Merchandise Allocator who will manage allocations for (url removed), physical retail stores, and retail activations The Merchandise Allocator plays a critical role in optimizing inventory levels and ensuring that the right product is in the right place at the right time. This position involves analyzing sales data, monitoring stock levels and making decisions to maximize sales and minimize stockouts.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Replenishment Management: Manage the min/max tool by sku to set product in store, manage optimal inventory, and plan exit strategies for end of life.
Communication: Share allocation strategies and execution plans with key cross functional teams in Merch, Retail, Retail Operations, Supply Chain, and Warehouse. Provide details on product timing and inventory availability.
Inventory Analysis: Analyze sales data, stock levels, and weekly store callouts to action any inventory or assortment opportunities.
Size Analysis: Track and determine optimal size curves by product category.
Inventory Contract Management: Secure inventory systematically by sku to support the DTC channel demand.
Allocation Process: Support Merchandise Planning & Allocations, Retail Operations, and Warehouse in identifying challenges in order allocation and order flow processes.
What We're Looking For :
This role requires a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. This is an entry-level position and is a great way to learn the sporting goods and/or athletic apparel businesses.
Other qualifications include:
Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of handling multiple tasks with competing deadlines
Strong analytical skills: detail-oriented and able to make data-driven recommendations
Strong cross functional collaborator, innovative problem solver and able to work well under pressure
Passionate about delivering an exceptional consumer experience
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Positive, can/do attitude
Strong computer proficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically excel.
