▶ About This Opportunity

The Primary purpose of the Sr. Financial Analyst role is to support the Planning data systems (MS SQL Server, SSAS, & IBM Cognos TM1), applying data mining techniques, performing statistical analysis, and building high quality prediction models in support of the organization’s key strategic initiatives.

JOB TITLE:  Financial Analyst

 

LOCATION:  3200 Hackberry Road, Irving TX 75063  

 

DUTIES: Support Field Operations (US and Canada) and Multiple Corporate Functional areas with forecasts, analysis of financial results through variance analysis to budget forecast, and annual Business Plans, Annual Field Budget, Mid-Year Plan, Bi-Monthly Forecasts, Franchise Fee Pricing, Lease Purchases/Relocations, and ad hoc research and reporting for the CFO, leadership in Operations and/or Planning; interact with Field Operations, Zone Vice Presidents and Director of Operations to provide financial support, verification of results and reporting; prepare comprehensive monthly / YTD results financial packages that involve comparative analysis of budgets versus current year forecasts/actual results and prior year results; analyze trends and other relevant information to develop operating assumptions necessary to complete Business Plans, Budgets, Mid-Year Plan and Bi-Monthly Forecasts; escalate Field Operations inquires as a primary financial liaison to ensure timely, appropriate action / resolution and/or effective interpretation of the financial implications of business activities; lead training sessions for the Field to facilitate store level budgeting during budget season; build budgets for all US and Canada stores across 100+ financial lines for 12 months annual budget process; participate in department initiatives to build / implement new tools for forecasting and budgeting; work with numerous functional departments to build inputs into the forecasts /budgets; and participate in Annual Incentive design review and support HR team in incentive exception review.

Qualifications:
 

 

REQUIREMENTS: : Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or in a related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or as a Financial Consultant, Data Analyst, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include 4 years performing:

 

Data mining, Data management, data visualization, and data science methodologies;

Business analytics, Business intelligence, Product management, Marketing analytics, project management, and financial modeling;

Applied statistics and application of testing methods (t-test, anova, AB Test etc.);

Python, R, SQL, and Tableau; and

MS Office (Excel, Word, Access, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project).
