Overview:
There is presently a need for highly-motivated Mechanical Draftsman with the ability to produce design deliverables from design sketches, layouts and/or concepts to support manufacture, assembly and test.  We are looking for candidates with the desire to develop skills through on-the-job experience and continued education to advance in the design profession.

 

Qualifications:
Required:

High School diploma/GED or Vocational High School diploma

2-5 years of relevant Mechanical Design work experience

Knowledge of Microsoft products

Demonstrated proficiency in drafting (portfolio) with Computer Aided Design (CAD)

Ability to perform design related math functions

Ability to read and interpret written instructions and drawings (blueprints)

Understanding of Design Standards, Manufacturing Processes and Military Specifications including GD&T

Preferred:

Experience with CATIA and/or NX

Familiarity with Design for Six Sigma, Lean Design/Manufacturing
