Marine Mechanic

As a highly skilled and experienced Marine Mechanic, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of marine engines, propulsion systems, and components. From routine maintenance tasks to complex repairs, you will diagnose issues, recommend solutions, and perform necessary repairs in a timely and efficient manner. Your attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot will be essential in ensuring the safety and reliability of our customers' vessels.
Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance on marine vessels, including engine tune-ups, oil changes, and fluid checks
Diagnose mechanical issues, using specialized diagnostic equipment and tools
Repair and replace defective parts, such as engine components, propellers, and navigation systems
Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations
Collaborate with other team members to complete complex repairs and installations
Keep accurate records of all repairs, maintenance tasks, and parts used
Provide exceptional customer service, answering inquiries and providing expert advice on marine maintenance and repair
Requirements
Minimum of [3-5 years] experience as a Marine Mechanic or in a similar role
Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing a wide range of marine mechanical and electrical systems
Strong knowledge of marine engines, propulsion systems, and related components
Familiarity with marine safety regulations and best practices
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
Solid understanding of diagnostic tools and equipment used in the marine industry
Effective communication and customer service skills
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
