Position Overview: 

The Corporate Controller will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and internal controls. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving financial performance and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

Lead the accounting team in day-to-day operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.

Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.

Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor departmental budgets and spending.

Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial partners.

Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the finance department.

Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA designation preferred.

8+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, with at least 4 years in a supervisory or managerial position.

Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.

Experience in a corporate finance environment, preferably in a similar industry.

Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems preferred.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and trends.

Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information effectively to senior management and stakeholders.
