Job Description

Our Seeds Agronomy team is currently seeking an Agronomist for Golden Harvest Seeds in Northwest Iowa. As the Agronomist, you will implement the Golden Harvest seed strategy in your territory and provide intense local knowledge and agronomic expertise to address complex agricultural challenges. 

 What you will be doing?

Being the product and technology expert for both corn and soybean seed, for Syngenta and competitive products

Leading the product training process for employees and customers of Golden Harvest

Providing localized and targeted product, technology and agronomic information and advice to the District Manager, Sales

Representatives, Channel Partners, customers, and prospects

Evaluate experimental trials to aid in training the sales force on new product launches

Provide input on production planning and portfolio

Sharpen competitive intelligence on pricing and products

Support product-based campaign development in the district 

Promote Syngenta products at meetings, field days, and one on ones
