Cafe Representative

Overview:
Inventory, Catering, Storeroom Management

These positions perform a variety of food serve tasks in support of the hospital meal service; specifically in the cafeteria. The employee will work under moderate supervision to provide an inviting meal service area for all customers as well as being responsible for the correct handling of cash and employee meal accounts.

Responsibilities:
Operates cash register in an efficient, pleasant manner.

Completes daily transaction reports.

Organize food service area; stocks all café related items.

Serves food in a cheerful manner while maintaining correct portion sizes.

Maintains seasonal decorations for the café area.

Maintains a safe environment by following Serve-Safe standards.

Qualifications:

Education:

High School Diploma or GED

 

Experience:

Customer Service

 

Degrees, Licensure, and/or Certification:

 Must have Serve-Safe within 3 months

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
