How You Can Help
We are hiring a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to work in a skilled nursing care facility (SNF) in collaboration with a team of PT’s, OT’s and SLP’s. These residents could be rehab to home or long-term care residents.
The Impact You Can Make
As a COTA, you will be responsible for providing, under the direction of an occupational therapist, therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the position's qualifications, professional practices, and ethical standards. You will also contribute to program development, quality improvement, and problem-solving in accordance with company-wide policies and clinical initiatives, to optimize each patient’s functional well-being and satisfaction.
What You’ll Need
Completion of an accredited Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant program (New Grads Welcome)
Current COTA state licensure
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
A results-oriented mindset with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
A tech-savvy skillset with the ability to learn quickly
A sense of professional curiosity, with a desire to learn new things, and to find/recommend solutions to problems
