Job Overview:
Shriners Children's Ohio has an opportunity for a full-time / weekend night shift  Pediatric Registered Nurse in our Inpatient Unit. Join a team of professionals committed to improving children's lives. Our top healthcare professionals excel in their practices and provide compassionate, family-centered care to children who need it most. Hours: Full-time, night shift, weekend position to work 72 hours bi-weekly.  Will work 12 hour shifts, 7:00 pm – 7:30 am, Friday, Saturday and Sunday or Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

Responsibilities:
The Inpatient RN is responsible for the coordination of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care in a collaborative, family-centered environment. 

The RN supports professional nursing practice across practice settings and across the continuum of care to meet the needs of the patient and family. 

This position will provide leadership by acting as an informal and formal leader, preceptor and through quality improvement efforts.

Qualifications:
Required:

High School Diploma / GED

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

 

Preferred:

Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) certification preferred

Experience in a healthcare setting and medical terminology strongly desired

Previous HUC experience preferred
