Position Summary:
Under general direction, of the US President,  the Membership Services Senior leader plans, organizes, and supervises the activities of teams of Membership Services and Contractor Recruiting Staff. This position contributes to the growth of Contractor Connection by partnering with and supporting the efforts of the Senior Leadership team and ensuring that clients are provided with consistent, timely and high-quality contractor work product that meets, or exceeds, industry and client specific expectations, and other corporate objectives. of the U.S. Operation while managing all activities of Membership Services and Contractor Recruiting staff including recruiting, selections, catastrophe mobilization and credentialing contractors for Crawford Contractor Connection.

Responsibilities:
Participates as a member of the U.S. Contractor Connection Senior Leadership Team, contributing to drafting and execution of strategic initiatives in alignment with the vision and mission of U.S. Contractor Connection.

Leads and manages the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of credentialing and recruiting function, including, but not limited, to:
Credentialing process for potential contractor network members including validation of credentialing documents.

Audit process which validates credentialing process documents and compliance with client requirements.

Ongoing Network Coverage evaluation and ensuring proper client program and consumer program contractor availability.

Catastrophe Mobilization, Catastrophe Coverage and No Contractor Found processes ensuring capability and capacity to provide surge response for carrier client programs and consumer programs.

Contractor activation, inactivation, suspension and termination from network.

Manages Managers, Supervisors and staff performing credentialing, membership services, and contractor recruiting to maintain appropriate staffing across departments; interviewing and selection of candidates process for open positions in the department.

Coaches, trains and reviews performance of Membership Services and Contractor Recruiting Managers, supervisors and staff supporting staff engagement and career path development; recommends salary increases when appropriate and ensuring disciplinary action implemented when appropriate.

Ensures appropriate annual re-credentialing process including acquisition and retention of appropriate documents such as Certificates of Insurance.

Works cross-departmentally with various departments including, but not limited to, Assignment Center, Customer Service, Issue Resolution, Estimate Review, Contractor Network Performance, Account Management and District Managers to mitigate and facilitate contractor coverage problem resolution.

Oversees distribution of information to management team and cross departmentally to ensure all groups are aware of ongoing trends related to Membership Services.

Manages archiving process for both qualified and non-qualified contractor information including financial information, liability insurance, credit reports and re-certification documents.
Responsible for ongoing evaluation of established workflows and coordinates process improvements as appropriate.

Provides management support for general contractor communications.

Participates in special projects or performs duties in other areas as requested by CEO and COO.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree is required.

7-10 years previous experience in a multi-channel (voice, chat, email etc.) management position required.

Minimum of 7 years construction estimating or property insurance background (preferred).

Strong level of client service, with experience working collaboratively and consultatively with clients.

Ability to create and manage effective relationships with cross-functional partners at various levels of the organization.

Ability to utilize internal web-based programs.

Computer literate with working knowledge of e-mail and the Internet.

Proficient in the use of Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.

Ability to delegate tasks as needed.

Ability to analyze data and resolve issues.

Ability to acquire and maintain an in-depth knowledge of company operations, systems, contract guidelines and other required policies and procedures.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with and manage a variety of people

Excellent public speaking and presentation skills.

Strong leadership and analytical skills.

Ability to deal with difficult issues under pressure, and provide necessary communication to staff, insurer clients and/or contractors.

Strong knowledge of industry practices and how to partner with clientele.

Analytical Problem Solving – Ability to identify root causes of problems and create new solutions, identify inefficient business work processes, and provide feedback to enhance client experience.

Acumen – Ability to make practical, realistic, and timely decisions after considering facts, available organizational resources, and potential risks.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work with various groups.
