Overview:
Carolina Poly, located in Westminster, SC, is currently seeking Gate Attendants to join our team.  Carolina Poly – Westminster, a reprocessing facility, is a new addition to an established nationwide manufacturing company that can provide growth and advancement opportunities.

 

Gate Attendants work a yearly set 2-2-3 schedule with 12 hour shifts.  The days of the week worked will rotate from week to week.  Candidates must be available to work each day of the week.

Responsibilities:
 

Monitor employee access to the facility.

Collect and disperse paperwork for shipments in absence of shipping and receiving personnel (nights and weekends).

Register all visitors properly and ensure they are sent to proper departments.

Communicate with various departments to announce visitors, issues, or emergencies.

The role will involve additional responsibilities and opportunities as they become necessary and/or are assigned by management.

Patrol grounds on foot and both inside the office and factory floor.

Ensure access points are locked/checked at specified times.

Qualifications:
 

 

Excellent communications skills, bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Experience in a security role preferred.

The ability to work a night shift or a day shift as assigned by management.

The aptitude and desire necessary to be a good student of Carolina Poly procedures.
