Overview:
If you are passionate about helping to transform a leading global enterprise to modernize platforms, improve processes, and cut costs. We are looking for an enterprise architect who can work with senior stakeholders, architects, business analysts, and developers to create and implement holistic solutions that address complex business problems and opportunities.

 

The Enterprise Architect role will work in our corporate division in direct collaboration with our divisional partners to promote a global perspective of the firm through information sharing and collaboration. You will also contribute to the further development of our Enterprise Architecture program to enrich technology decision making across the entire firm.

Responsibilities:
Aligning technology with the organization's business objectives and plans.

Understanding the organization's business processes and identifying areas where technology can increase productivity, quality, and efficiency.

Evaluating the organization's current technology systems to find areas for improvement, such as performance, scalability, security, and cost-efficiency.

Creating a technology roadmap that shows the steps needed to reach the desired state, including suggestions for new technology solutions, upgrades, and changes to business workflows.

Ensuring that technology solutions are scalable, secure, and cost-efficient by comparing different options and choosing those that meet the organization's needs.

Working with various stakeholders, including business leaders, architects, IT teams, vendors, and customers, to understand their needs and issues and create solutions that meet their expectations.

Managing the execution of technology projects, providing technical knowledge, and supporting project managers to ensure projects are finished on time and within budget.

Tracking progress, making changes as needed, and managing project execution for successful results.

Collaborating with business leaders and architects to create enterprise and divisional capability maps, as well as roadmaps to align business transformations with divisional and firm goals and objectives.

Finding opportunities to unify solutions that have the same functions across divisions and/or regions.

Keeping a deep knowledge of both technology and business workflows, including business strategy, structure, operations, and technology.

Ensuring scalable, efficient, and cost-effective business solutions.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

7+ years of progressive experience as a senior architect or technical lead in large insurance IT organizations spanning multiple enterprise systems.

In-depth knowledge of regional and local regulatory requirements with a global perspective.

Strong expertise in system design, integration, and architecture best practices.

Familiarity with insurance data management, privacy, and security considerations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.

In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 platforms, Azure, Ping, and accompanying technologies

Expertise in cloud services, Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Data as a Service (DaaS), microservices, and API's

Strong aptitude for conflict resolution, problem solving, strategic planning and evaluation, and financial/ROI analysis.

Strong and deep technical expertise across applications, data, infrastructure, and integrations as well as strong domain knowledge on what is “best in class” digital experience for Enterprise products.

An inquisitive mind, endless curiosity, and passion for learning about technologies, industries, and new approaches to doing things.

Exceptional decision-making skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity and complexity while driving positive change and achieving tangible results.
