Job Description

Summary

Serves meal to residents based upon the resident’s prescribed dietary regimen and food

allergies, providing residents with the “ultimate” dining experience.

Essential functions

• Prepare utility area.

• Ensure menu is on the chalkboard.

• Check dietary roster.

• Prepare iced tea, juice, coffee, and tea.

• Fill and maintain supply of condiments.

• Assist cook as needed.

• Conduct quality check on tables

• Provide gracious table service.

• Clean the Dining Room as scheduled.

• Re-set Dining Room tables

• Clean the Kitchen as scheduled.

• Clean the microwave.

• Clean the coffee machine.

• Clean the juice machine.

• Set up and maintain the snack hutch.

• Set up the hydration cart at 2:00 PM

• Set up tray service.

• Assist resident in a medical emergency.

• Notice residents’ eating habits.

• Follow cleaning schedules.

• Support events as needed.

• Performs other duties, as assigned.
