Field Service Technician, Wonderful Laboratories

Sampling of water and agricultural commodities at client facilities/origin and transporting to the lab.
Prepare samples for submission to the laboratory for pre-determined analysis. Completes chain of custody documents and ensures proper sample storage and transportation.
Maintains the site-specific field notebook with all daily field information in addition to filling out required paperwork to be submitted to supervisor, in a timely manner.
Handles routine mapping of sites.
Maintains assigned company vehicle in accordance with guidelines established by Fleet Department.
Receive and log in sample in preparation for analysis. Review sample and any attached documentation to assign an identification number and enter information into Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). Prepare documentation as necessary.
Contact client, when necessary, to obtain and clarify missing or unclear information to ensure that identification of client code, test code, and sample contents are accurate.
May assist laboratory personnel with the preparation and analysis of samples.
Perform other related duties as needed.
