Job Description:
An Administrative Technician provides administrative support to the Training Department.

Must be able to maintain manual and electronic files.

Perform general office support functions.

Answer phones, take messages.

Input data electronically.

Fax and photocopy.

Move / arrange furniture / office equipment.

Be responsible for record retention assignments.

Distribute mail.

Must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment with distractions.

Have the ability to multi-task and possess good people skills.

Required/Preferred Education/Training:
High School diploma or GED required.

Associates degree in Administrative Business field preferred.

Security Clearance / Ability to obtain a DoD SECRET clearance required.This position requires you to be able to obtain a government security clearance.  You must be a US Citizen for consideration and you must be able to obtain an interim security clearance within the first 45 days of hire.  For more information regarding the security clearance process, please visit

Required/Preferred Experience:
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and typing skills of 80 WPM.

Excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail with accuracy required.

Effective oral and written communication skills required.

Candidate must be highly motivated with a proven ability to work independently required.

Must have a demonstrated ability to effectively work in a team environment required.

Learning Management System/administrative experience preferred.
