Overview:
Interns will aid in the processing of remote sensing/GIS data, and general operational efforts, to support projects and team functionality. This individual will learn to produce accurate and precise data products in a consistent and timely manner and should have a strong interest in the geospatial field. The opportunity is meant to introduce them to geospatial production workflows, remote sensing technologies and tools, and provide on-the-job experience and professional skill building.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate on a variety of remote sensing/GIS projects 

Maintain precision and accuracy in high volume workflows 

Manipulate data with great attention to detail and efficiency 

Work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment 

Maintain professionalism 

Other reasonable duties as assigned

Show an interest in remote sensing and geospatial fields

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:

Enrolled as a student, or a recent graduate of, an academic institution with at least one semester completed at the time of application.  

Pursuing, or recently awarded, a degree in remote sensing, geography, GIS, or a related field 

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to think critically 

Experience in a 3D environment, CAD preferred (PLS-CADD, MicroStation, and AutoDesk) 

Fluency with spatial analysis software, such as ArcGIS 

Familiar with raster and vector data 

Aerial image interpretation
