The April Parker Foundation, a leading non-profit organization focused on providing comprehensive services to underserved communities, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Housing Case Manager Supervisor to join our dynamic team. As a Housing Case Manager Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our housing case management programs and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to individuals and families in need.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Supervising a team of Housing Case Managers, providing guidance, support, and ongoing professional development

Developing and implementing program policies, procedures, and quality assurance measures

Ensuring compliance with funding requirements, regulatory standards, and best practices in housing case management

Collaborating with community partners and stakeholders to enhance resources and services available to clients

Overseeing the assessment and intake process, including determining program eligibility and prioritizing services based on individual needs

Coordinating housing placements, relocation assistance, and ongoing case management support

Monitoring client progress and outcomes, conducting regular case reviews, and making necessary adjustments to service plans

Providing crisis intervention and support in challenging situations or emergencies

Preparing reports and data analysis to evaluate program effectiveness and inform decision-making

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

Bachelor's degree in social work, human services, or a related lived experience

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in housing case management or related social service field

Previous supervisory experience, including team leadership and staff development

Excellent knowledge of housing assistance programs, eligibility criteria, and resources available to underserved populations

Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and best practices in supporting individuals who have experienced homelessness or housing instability

Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including clients, community partners, and government agencies

Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions

Proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office Suite

Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

Compassionate and empathetic approach, with a commitment to providing client-centered service
